The short version
The iROCKER All Around 11’ is a stable, well-equipped inflatable that suits beginners and taller or heavier paddlers who want one board for lakes, bays and light chop.
It isn’t fast or quick to turn, but for steady all-day paddling it’s still one of the safer buys in its price range.
The board is now in its 8.0 generation. The size hasn’t changed since we first reviewed it in 2021 (11’ × 32” × 6”), but the construction, accessories and price have.
Current version
As of October 2026 the current model is the All Around 11’ 8.0. What’s new compared with the version we first covered:
- Construction: iROCKER says the 8.0 uses fused triple-layer PVC with welded seams and strengthened rails, shared across its whole 8.0 lineup.
- Removable center handle: it unclips so the deck is more comfortable to sit or lie on, and so it can dry before you pack the board.
- Tethered fins: the three fins are tethered, so you can’t lose one in the water.
- MAGTITE puck: a magnetic mount for iROCKER’s cup holder, speaker and storage accessories.
- Capacity: iROCKER rates the 8.0 for 435 lb.
- Price: iROCKER’s list price is $799, but it was selling for around $499–$529 on iROCKER’s own site and around $579 on Amazon at the time of writing.

Performance
Our scores are our assessment of the board’s shape and specs, checked against what independent testers found with earlier versions of the same 11’ × 32” shape.
Stability
8.0At 32” wide and 6” thick, it’s steady on flat water and handles boat wakes without drama. Testers at OutdoorGearLab found it especially reassuring for taller and heavier paddlers.
Glide
6.0Its length helps it hold a line, but a flat, low-rocker inflatable isn’t fast. OutdoorGearLab called its pace sluggish compared with sleeker boards, though the fins kept it tracking straight.
Maneuverability
8.0Turning is easy enough for beginners on open water. In tight spots it’s slower: OutdoorGearLab needed several strokes to change direction and found it harder to steer around obstacles in current. Our 8.0/10 reflects open-water use.
Ease of transport
9.0It rolls up small enough for a car trunk. The 8.0 box list shows a carry strap rather than the wheeled backpack earlier versions came with, so check the listing if a backpack matters to you.
Ease of inflation
Expect to work for it with the hand pump. OutdoorGearLab found earlier versions slower to inflate than rivals and the dual-chamber pump confusing at first. If you paddle often, an electric pump saves a lot of effort; see our best SUP pumps.
Who it’s for
- Beginners who want a board they won’t outgrow quickly
- Taller and heavier paddlers who need stability and capacity
- Families who want room for a child or dog up front (see how to paddle board with a dog)
If you mainly want speed for longer distances, a narrower touring board will suit you better. If you want maximum stability, iROCKER’s own Cruiser is wider.
Alternatives worth a look
- More stability: the iROCKER Cruiser 10’6” 8.0 is 34” wide and rated for 400 lb. It’s in our best paddle boards for big guys roundup.

FAQ
Is the iROCKER All Around 11’ good for beginners?
Yes. It’s wide and stable, comes with everything you need, and is long enough that you won’t outgrow it after a season. Always wear a PFD and a leash, and start on calm water.
What’s the difference between the All Around 11’ and the Cruiser?
The All Around is 11’ × 32” and rated for 435 lb; it glides a little better. The Cruiser is 10’6” × 34” and rated for 400 lb; it’s more stable and easier to turn.
What PSI should I inflate it to?
iROCKER says the 8.0 boards are rigid from 15 PSI. Follow the maximum printed by the valve on your board.
